Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Genesis HealthCare, Inc. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direction of Registered Nurses to provide direct and indirect patient and resident care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients and residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, etc. You will also be responsible for reporting changes in patient and residents' condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to charge nurse and/or supervisor. Additionally, you will participate in the care planning process and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

* Assist patients and residents with their ADLs, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, etc.
* Report changes in patient and residents' condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to charge nurse and/or supervisor.
* Participate in the care planning process and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient and resident care, including progress notes and medication administration records.

Requirements:

* Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients and residents.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
