Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our field operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and project stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a field point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, providing timely and effective communication.
  • Support the Resident Engineer in managing and supervising field office operations, including construction field inspections and staff management.
  • Conduct regular reviews and verifications of construction activities, schedules, and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of construction change orders and weekly/monthly project reports.
  • Participate in project progress meetings and perform routine assignments requiring application of spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience on multi-disciplinary construction projects, including bridge and street reconstruction.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related PC software packages.
