Work Environment at Sunsational Headquarters:

Role of the Staffing Coordinator:
  • The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, engagement, staffing, and support of our swim instructors, a diverse and growing group of independent contractors. Each day presents a unique challenge to match instructors with clients' specific needs.
  • A significant aspect of this role involves conveying policies to new hires and nurturing relationships with long-standing contractors. By empowering instructors, we ensure client satisfaction and facilitate the acquisition of essential water safety skills for students.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate applicants, conduct interviews, and finalize hiring decisions
  • Engage and manage both new hires and existing contractors' accounts to monitor performance
  • Serve as a resource for applicants and contractors
  • Conduct phone interviews with candidates nationwide
  • Make hiring choices that align with our clients' best interests
  • Review and address instructor requests
  • Identify suitable swim instructors for new clients
  • Oversee instructor accounts to assess performance
  • Communicate effectively with instructors across various platforms
  • Facilitate online onboarding sessions for selected new hires
  • Collaborate efficiently with all departments to resolve issues
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively
  • Anticipate, prevent issues, and devise creative solutions promptly
  • Stay informed about changes, challenges, and concerns
  • Assist contractors with any modifications to their existing contracts

Position Details:
