Surgical Anesthesia Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Anesthesia Specialist to join our dynamic team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Outpatient Surgery Clinic in Clemmons, NC.

About the Role:

This is a PRN (as-needed) position offering a competitive hourly rate of $150 per hour. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a key role in providing anesthesia services using safe and quality techniques during pediatric procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including general surgery, gynecology, dental surgery, orthopedics, hand surgery, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, and urology.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure effective patient care and promote infection prevention.
• Document patient records in compliance with hospital standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and readiness to deliver timely patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program with a Master's degree or higher required.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing and current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
• Current CPR certification and ACLS, BLS ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.
