Responsibilities
- Deliver Petroleum Products Safely: Drive a tractor trailer to delivery locations while adhering to all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain Required Paperwork: Complete daily paperwork, including manifests, emergency response guides, and driver vehicle inspections reports.
- Operate Company Equipment: Load and unload petroleum products at local loading facilities using company equipment.
- Collaborate with Dispatch Team: Communicate with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of products and address any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Comply with Baltimore Tank Lines' guiding principles and service excellence behaviors at all times.
Requirements
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL A): Possess a valid CDL A with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
- DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate: Hold a current DOT medical examiner's certificate.
- FMCSA Clearinghouse Query: Pass a FMCSA clearinghouse query.
- 3+ Years' Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience driving tanker vehicles.
Work Environment
This position requires regular exposure to weather conditions, extended hours of sitting, and occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of heavy objects. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
