RN Charge – Transitional Care at Providence
This role encompasses a supervisory capacity with responsibility for managing the designated nursing unit. The RN Charge oversees Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants, stepping in to provide coverage as necessary. This position may also involve direct patient care, including medication administration, primary skin care, and adjustments to treatment plans to address patients' physical and psychosocial requirements. Staff organization and reallocation will be adjusted according to the facility's needs.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Evening Shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the nursing unit, ensuring quality patient care.
- Oversee the performance of Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants.
- Engage in direct patient care activities as needed.
- Adjust staffing based on patient care requirements and facility demands.

Qualifications Required:
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Washington State RN License upon hire.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- A minimum of 3 years of RN experience, preferably in sub-acute care, or previous charge nurse experience, or 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
