We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to lead our store operations and drive sales growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing store operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and implement company programs.
- Train and develop team members to improve sales skills and customer service.
- Monitor and maintain store conditions, including cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security.
- 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
