Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 4 West Tower Medical-Surgical Unit, providing Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Trauma services to adult and geriatric patients. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with experienced caregivers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure effective and timely care.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, including vital signs and medication administration.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
