Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Care Coordinator to join our team at Canyon Vista Medical Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing goals and objectives related to psychiatric-mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate in-patient service programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide staff orientation, performance evaluations, and continuing education to ensure staff are equipped to provide excellent patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, and participate in Process Improvement Performance initiatives to improve activities and unit goals.
  • Act as a resource person to staff and leadership, and participate in special committees as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Active AZ or Compact RN License required.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health care preferred.
  • CPR, BLS, and HWC certification required within 90 days of hire.
