Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Light Driver to join our team at our Munitions Plants. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Inspecting vehicles for proper operating condition and recommending necessary repairs
- Picking orders for line support and shipments
- Building dunnage for out shipments
- Assembling various types of merchandise
- Checking and/or counting freight for accuracy and/or damage
- Performing other duties in the ammunition building process of the same or lower level of difficulty
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure proper operating condition
- Pick orders for line support and shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Build dunnage for out shipments, adhering to quality and safety standards
- Assemble various types of merchandise, following established procedures
- Check and/or count freight for accuracy and/or damage, performing necessary inventory functions and material transactions
- Perform other duties in the ammunition building process of the same or lower level of difficulty, as assigned by management
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A valid driver's license
- At least 3 years of forklift experience
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
