Janitorial Specialist

Skookum Contract Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitorial Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

• Restroom Cleaning: Sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross contamination procedures.
• Office Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Halls and High Traffic Area Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Entrances and Exits Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.
• Trash Management: Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.
• Supply Restocking: Restock supplies according to schedule.
• Dusting: Dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.
• Stairwell Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.
• Shower Cleaning: Clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures
• Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker: Keep clean and organized.

• 1 to 3 years of lead experience, preferably in a janitorial work setting.
• Ability to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid State Driver's license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance company.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received the COVID-19 vaccine in full by date of hire to be considered for employment (unless otherwise exempted from this policy by an approved medical or religious exemption).
