Job Summary

As a Patient Transporter at Community Health Systems, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from their inpatient beds and other areas of the facility. You will also retrieve medical records, lab results, supplies, and medications as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from their destinations
  • Retrieve medical records, lab results, supplies, and medications as instructed
  • Follow established guidelines and protocols to perform job duties
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in healthcare or transportation preferred
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
