Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our team at Jabil. As a Solderer, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing electronic components, ensuring high-quality production and meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first-article checks to ensure components match the bill-of-material description and are placed correctly.
  • Repair defects in line and enter defect data into the CIQ system.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and move/production tickets.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Work under close supervision, following standardized directions and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and using Windows-based software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
