Peraton's National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit is seeking a skilled DevOps Systems Administrator to enhance its SITE III JIOC contract. This role is pivotal in managing a suite of applications focused on Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations that support intelligence analysts and collection managers across various commands.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
  • Integrating tools into the deployment pipeline and resolving integration challenges.
  • Collaborating with development teams to incorporate new microservices into the existing pipeline.
  • Automating the installation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products within the system architecture.
  • Monitoring AWS services and developing scripts to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Documenting key features for developer reference and process improvements.
  • Debugging integration issues and identifying deployment challenges.
  • Utilizing DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify for effective integration.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting languages, including Bash and Python.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • A commitment to working in a DevSecOps environment with an Infrastructure as Code approach.
  • Eligibility for TS clearance and the ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java or Python.
  • Experience with cloud-based software solutions, including deployment and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and Docker for automated CI/CD processes.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Experience with IC Audit requirements and tools like Splunk.
