About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Analytics Manager to join our team at Credit Union 1. As a key member of our Business Technology team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities, ensuring consistent and quality service to all business departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • BI Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, ETL processes, reports, and data models using PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake.
  • Data Governance: Monitor Snowflake governance, ensuring cost, security, and usage are optimized.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate those requirements into data solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze datasets to discover meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships to improve operational and productivity across the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Refine, enhance, and automate processes and reports by managing tables/views and data pipelines.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and developers, promoting a culture of excellence within the Business Technology team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, ETL, or a related field, with proven experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake, excellent SQL skills, and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Breadth and depth of knowledge pertaining to the credit union industry/retail financial services business, with a well-rounded knowledge of credit union practices preferred.
