The Room Attendant's primary duties encompass ensuring that guest accommodations, corridors, and communal spaces within the establishment are kept clean and visually appealing.

Daily servicing of guest rooms in alignment with hotel protocols, preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, changing bed linens, and restocking guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety/security guidelines.

In certain situations, this role may also involve executing 'deep cleaning' tasks within guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.


This position necessitates a keen attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.

Must be capable of conveying information and ideas clearly.

Must be able to assess and choose among various courses of action swiftly and accurately.

Must perform well in high-pressure situations.

Essential Duties:
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company standards as required by scheduling, which will vary based on the needs of the hotel.


Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).

Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms per shift.

Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including but not limited to preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens.

Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to facilitate deep cleaning.


Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing the air conditioning filter, cleaning the AC coils, touching up paint on walls/molding, addressing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
