At Northside Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the quality of our services. As a Registered Professional Nurse on our 8T Orthopedics/Neuroscience unit, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to our patients.
Unit Overview
Our 32-bed unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry capability. We utilize an interdisciplinary team approach, collaborating closely with physical and occupational therapists to elevate the education and care of our patients. Our unit features a gym where patients can learn essential skills for a safe discharge.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional education, competencies, and/or certification required as a condition of employment.
- Unit-specific requirements and preferred qualifications.
