An Environmental Scientist position is available in the Miramar Beach, FL office, supporting the Environmental business line and primarily working on Federal projects.

You'll utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems.

Your responsibilities will include preparing technical work plans and reports, interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, comparing findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance, and applying standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples.

Additionally, you'll apply knowledge of natural sciences to explain observations, study contaminants, and determine how to restore the environment.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, or other related discipline, + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

• Maintain professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees
• Ability to write and convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner
• Frequently lifting, carrying, and loading equipment without assistance up to 50lbs

$55,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and individual qualifications.
