We are seeking a skilled Master Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore 9976 in Columbus. As a vital member of our crew, you will play a key role in constructing, repairing, restoring, and installing various structures, including floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, furniture, cabinets, shelves, and roofs.

About the Role

As a Master Carpenter, you will be responsible for:

  • Constructing and repairing structures using wood and related materials, adhering to company standards and procedures;
  • Determining material requirements and dimensions by studying blueprints, sketches, building plans, estimates, and work orders;
  • Projecting and working with structural framing of buildings in both wood and metal, repairs, and maintenance;
  • Demonstrating a positive image of the Company to staff and clients through effective communication and visual presentation.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • The ability to apply skills in construction, repair, restoration, and installation of wood or related materials;
  • The capacity to estimate time and materials needed for assigned work projects;
  • A high level of accuracy in measuring and performing handy-man and building maintenance tasks;
  • The ability to use all hand tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assist in making the Company more effective and efficient;
  • The ability to work on call and in emergency situations as needed;
  • The capacity to generate information within a reasonable time frame with accuracy and efficiency;
  • The ability to produce work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled, and profitable manner for the Company;
  • An understanding of safety procedures and principles, protecting yourself and others from injury;
  • Exemplary customer service skills when interacting with clients, employees, and vendors.
