Key Responsibilities- Develop original content by collaborating with content stakeholders to determine strategic direction, key objectives, and themes for content.
- Ensure content aligns with business goals, communicates the desired message to the intended audience, and adheres to corporate brand standards, style guides, and legal and compliance guidelines.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement a content strategy that drives engagement and conversion.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and leverage this knowledge to inform content creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of financial-services editorial content that exemplifies superb writing skills and the ability to distill and synthesize complex ideas into clear prose.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Journalism, or a related field, and at least 7-10 years of financial/investment writing experience.
- Knowledge of or experience in the investment management industry, writing about complex topics is required; a knowledge of alternative investment products is a plus.
- Strong portfolio of financial-services editorial content that demonstrates superb writing skills and the ability to distill and synthesize complex ideas into clear prose.
- Eagerness to learn about our products, marketing strategy, and the needs of our audiences, and the ability to use that information to develop and shape content.
- Ability to thrive in a team setting and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop content.
- Digital savvy, with a good understanding of digital tools and channels, such as social media, search, and content marketing.
- Strong competency in analysis in software such as Excel, creating charts, and utilizing market data sources.
- Ability to work with data and understand the constraints of working in a heavily regulated industry.
- Comfortable and willing to work a hybrid schedule: 3 days/week in either our New York City or Los Angeles office and 2 days/week from home.
Capital Group offers a competitive base salary range of $131,596-$210,554 in Southern California and $139,498-$223,197 in New York, as well as a hybrid work schedule and opportunities for professional growth and development.
