We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Director to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and directing the operations within a defined Section and/or multiple clinical disciplines of The Emory Clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Manage human, financial, and material resources to ensure a high-quality, cost-effective, and responsive healthcare service to all customers of the Section.
- Direct activities that enhance operational efficiencies, improve patient satisfaction, and result in cost-effective healthcare solutions.
- Develop and manage budgets, including annual operating and capital budgets, and provide analysis of all material variances.
- Manage costs and budgets for multiple sites and/or specialties, focusing on revenue cycle management and associated components.
- Develop and manage faculty and staff compensation according to prescribed, standardized plans and policies of TEC.
- Work with managers to formulate plans for professional development and attend educational in-services as appropriate.
- Participate in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, healthcare administration, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of seven (7) years healthcare-related experience, ambulatory setting preferred; with master's, minimum of five (5) years healthcare-related experience, ambulatory setting preferred.
- Minimum requirement of three (3) years supervisory/manager experience.
