Medical Biller

At New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, we are seeking a highly skilled Lab Biller to join our team. As a Lab Biller, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our patients.

• Assign accurate diagnosis codes and procedure codes to ensure proper billing.
• Verify and update patient insurance information to ensure seamless billing processes.
• Collaborate closely with laboratory staff and administration to resolve billing-related issues.
• Monitor daily billing reports to identify and address any discrepancies.
• Utilize Excel to create and export information, ensuring efficient data management.
• Interact professionally with supervisors, managers, and coworkers, maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Navigate and perform tasks on Labdaq and ONCO EMR with ease.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Excel, ICD Codes, Medical Terminology, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in billing, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Competitive hourly rate starting at $22.54.
