Job Title: PACU Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team at the University of Rochester.

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Provide post-operative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
  • Participate in unit/service activities and support co-workers to ensure a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
  • An active New York State RN license in good standing
  • A minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
