We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Coax Splicer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical projects, utilizing your expertise in splicing, drop cable, ONT, HFC, and fusion splicing.

• Perform coax splicing, including mid-span and end splicing, in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
• Handle, maintain, and operate specialized tools and equipment for splicing and testing.
• Install and troubleshoot ONT and HFC systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Execute fusion splicing, ensuring minimal loss and high-quality connections.
• Perform drop cable installations and repairs, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and systems to prevent malfunctions and ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced team members.
• Document all work performed, including any issues encountered and actions taken.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in coax splicing, drop cable installation, ONT and HFC systems, and fusion splicing.
• Proven technical skills, with an in-depth understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for splicing and testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, perform physically demanding tasks, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required by the job.
• High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
