Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents in a variety of post-acute facilities in your area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver empathetic nursing care to residents based on approved nursing care plans
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
  • Monitor residents' conditions during your shift and report any changes to healthcare staff
  • Take, monitor, and report vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
  • Ensure a clean, sanitized, and hygienic environment for residents
  • Communicate effectively with family members, visitors, and healthcare staff
  • Provide companionship and comfort to residents

Requirements
  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
  • Familiarity with nursing care procedures and related terminology
  • Effective organization and communication skills
