Job Title: 24-Hour RN Ambulatory Care, Cardiology - Hybrid/Chestnut Hill/Needham

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology team in a hybrid role, combining on-site and remote work. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and adaptable nurse who is confident in their clinical abilities and comfortable prioritizing tasks.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-time, 24-hour remote Triage RN to support our cardiology practice Monday through Friday. As a Hybrid opportunity, this position entails onsite coverage 1 or 2 days a week with the rest of the days being remote after successful completion of onboarding period. We are very flexible with the schedule and open to this Triage RN working 5, 5-hour days from 8:00am- 1:00pm or 3, 8-hour shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage patient calls, assess the nature of patient need, and develop a plan of care as a result of the assessment.
  • Provide patient education, post-hospitalization follow-up, and clinical guidance and support to MA and LPN staff.
  • Participate in departmental QI endeavors and manage triage care from the practice alternating with centralized call center.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current Massachusetts RN licensure.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
  • Cardiology experience preferred.
  • Ambulatory phone triage experience preferred.
  • Epic proficiency preferred.
