About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Unload products from the trailer and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance our client experience
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
