Job Title: Concrete Truck Driver

Smith Ready Mix, Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Truck Driver to join our team at our plant locations in New Paris and Bristol, IN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-minded individual to operate our concrete trucks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers. The successful candidate will have a Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement and the ability to lift 80 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate concrete trucks in accordance with Federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Load and deliver perishable product to customers, providing quality and good customer service.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections, reporting necessary maintenance as required.
  • Assist with plant maintenance, cleanup, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Complete all forms, tickets, and required paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement.
  • Ability to pass DOT medical examination.
  • Good driving record to maintain insurability.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Legible writing.
