At Boulder City Hospital, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nurse Apprentice to join our team. As a Nurse Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide routine nursing care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the nursing staff in providing nursing care to patients within the scope of the Nevada Board of Nursing.
- Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide nursing care following the Nevada State Board of Nursing approved skills list.
- Assist with physical examinations, diagnostic procedures/treatments, and patient education.
- Pass and administer medications via various routes, including oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, otic, ophthalmic, nasal, or feeding tube.
- Report any abnormal findings or observations to supervising RN.
- Must be enrolled in a nursing program approved by the Nevada Board of Nursing.
- Must be able to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Must be able to provide routine nursing care to patients.
