Nurse Practitioner Oncology Evening Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health in an inpatient oncology evening role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice protocols.
Responsibilities- Participate in decisions affecting APRN practice and advance nursing practice within the institution.
- Seek opportunities to promote HackensackUMC APRN practice recognition locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Provide excellence in patient experience through modeling Service Excellence Standards.
- Communicate a shared vision with the department of patient care and the department of specialty practice.
- Participate in APRN interviewing, credentialing, and peer review process as requested.
- Participate in a minimum of one professional specialty organization.
- Support the nursing blueprint by providing evidence of practice outcomes.
- Display support of the institutional pillars through systems management, change management, and scholarly practices.
- Ensure consistency with HackensackUMC nursing protocols, standards of care, and accomplishment of disease-specific quality indicators.
- Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing.
- Master's degree.
- Maintains clinical competencies through participating in continuing educational programs and clinical practice as mandated by Board of Nursing and national certification body.
- Experience in relevant patient care setting or as regulations dictate.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- Advance Practice Nurse License.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
- Maintains certification as APN in New Jersey.
- Maintains National or Board Certification as appropriate in area of specialty.
