We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Unit Details- Patient Capacity: Varies daily, with an annual volume of approximately 4,000 patients.
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC (the last two are preferred).
- Staffing Ratio: Potentially 1:7, with additional support from the medical-surgical unit as needed.
- Electronic Medical Records: Utilizes T-system and CPSI.
- Monitoring Equipment: Mindray monitors; proficiency in EKG interpretation is essential.
- Ventilators: Newport HT70.
- Lab Draws: Required if lab services are unavailable.
- IV Skills: Strong IV skills are preferred; no dedicated IV team.
- Shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend, with potential for more frequent shifts as necessary.
- Holiday Rotation: Participation in holiday coverage with permanent staff.
