Job DescriptionThis role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Leadership Team, with a clear path for career advancement and professional growth. As a Quality Support Specialist, you will be integral to maintaining and improving our high standards by ensuring that products meet specific standards of quality and safety.
The successful candidate will have experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. You will be responsible for rework paperwork, non-conformances, contract review, inspection & approval, quality audits, organization and documentation, communication, quality assurance, supplier & product assessment, training, blueprint reading, and testing tools.
Qualifications- Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment required.
- Attention to Detail:
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Must have advanced math and computer skills.
- Ability to use specialized testing tools and machinery.
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs independently.
- Visual acuity to inspect products and read documents.
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
- Communication:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work cross functionally within a production environment.
The expected salary range for this position is $17.50-$25.00 per hour. C.H. Thompson provides salary ranges as a good faith estimate of what the company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Compensation offered to a selected candidate may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
