About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the needs of residents.
  • Assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
  • Participate in direct resident assessment and care, utilizing your knowledge and skills to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care, adhering to State and Federal regulations.
  • Formulate individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process, assessing each resident daily and implementing changes as needed.
  • Assist the physician on rounds, ensuring that pertinent information is communicated and orders are taken correctly.
  • Participate in the training and supervision of nursing personnel, utilizing effective leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage conflict through effective communication and problem-solving skills, acting calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
  • Prepare daily assignments of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks.
