Key requirements for this position include:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a family medicine residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas
  • Board certification or eligibility in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and colleagues
