The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services. About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patients' health status, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that impact patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans
* Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patients' needs
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that impact patient care
* Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
Requirements:
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in any U.S. state or territory
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
* At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems
