Job Summary:

Identify and correct problems in specified appliances, refrigeration cycles, and electrical portions of HVAC equipment. Perform system work on HVAC equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform and train others in preventive maintenance on residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
  • Assist in sealed system HVAC or advanced appliance repair as part of training and development.
  • Perform advanced clerical duties necessary to complete requests for service.
  • Maintain advanced Company stock and equipment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge in tools and materials related to the service field.
  • Advanced skills in communication, sales, and customer relations.
  • Advanced skills in servicing appliances, heating, and air conditioning equipment.

Education and Experience:

Three to four years of work experience or a combination of time in an accredited trade or vocational training program equaling three to four years in basic service for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

CFC certification I and II, Maryland State HVAC Journeyman License, and Gas Fitter Card are required.
