Job Description

As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at AdventHealth Central Florida, you will provide comprehensive care for critically ill newborns in our state-of-the-art NICU.

You will be responsible for evaluating patients, performing procedures, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab results, and communicating with parents and other specialists.

  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans that meet their unique needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care

This role requires a strong foundation in neonatal nursing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatology
  • A valid Florida APRN license with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Certification through NCC (or eligible)
  • NRP certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN (highly preferred)

We offer competitive compensation packages, including an estimated annual salary of $120,000-$150,000 based on experience and qualifications.
