Role Overview:
As a Solids Control Field Technician, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing mechanical processes that enhance drilling operations and facilitate the recycling of drilling fluids through advanced closed-loop systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of Field Leaders, your primary duties will include:

1. Ensuring all equipment and systems operate in accordance with company standards and protocols.
2. Maintaining and operating solids control machinery, including centrifuges, shakers, pumps, and more.
3. Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
4. Monitoring and controlling process levels, mud weights, pressures, and flows to ensure optimal performance.
5. Collecting and validating critical data for daily reporting and documentation.
6. Participating in safety meetings and adhering to safe work practices to identify and mitigate hazards.
7. Setting up and dismantling equipment at various job sites.
8. Operating heavy machinery, such as front loaders and forklifts, for the movement of materials.

Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

- A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Effective organizational skills and reliability in job performance.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, on a rotational schedule.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations across the United States.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.

Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, are necessary.
