We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Aerotek. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit. Your attention to detail and ability to follow design criteria will ensure that our equipment meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble tank equipment, wiring, and conduit according to design specifications
- Repair and maintain equipment, parts, and materials as needed
- Inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria
- Write maintenance work orders as required
- Strong mechanical assembly skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with overhead cranes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
This is a permanent, on-site position near Waukesha, Wisconsin. The work schedule is 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with overtime typically every other Saturday. Sundays are never mandatory, and training on 1st shift (7am-3pm) is provided for 2-6 months.
