Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to join our Biologics Manufacturing team at Biogen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of clinical and commercial products under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Lead Manufacturing Teams: Direct and motivate a team of Manufacturing Associates to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality products.
- Ensure GMP Compliance: Implement and maintain GMP procedures and protocols to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
- Schedule and Coordinate Manufacturing Activities: Plan and execute daily manufacturing activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with other departments.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Quality Control, Materials Management, Manufacturing Sciences, Validation, Facilities, Process Engineering, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Train and Develop Manufacturing Associates: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure that Manufacturing Associates have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Operational Issues: Identify and resolve operational and equipment problems, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and Draft Manufacturing Documents: Develop and review batch records, SOPs, and other manufacturing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with GMP regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (STEM preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in biologics manufacturing, with a strong background in GMP compliance and leadership.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of Manufacturing Associates. Proficiency in electronic systems, such as Oracle, CMMS, and Trackwise.
