Thales is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with project managers and service delivery managers to analyze traffic trends and capacity requirements.
- Integrate, operate, and support 24/7 mission-critical services.
- Continuously improve service reliability, performance, and security.
- Review technical products and understand customer requirements.
- Participate in capacity management processes and security audits.
- Define business continuity strategies for operated services over public cloud.
- Work with SRE engineers during integration and operation project phases.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- +5 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of applications.
- +5 years of proven experience in public cloud (GCP or AWS).
- Strong working experience in one of the scripting languages - SHELL/Python.
- Experience with Datadog Monitoring tool implementation and monitoring.
- Experience with GCP Terraform.
- Other technologies: SOAP, Rest API, No-SQL, SQL query constructions, operate secrets on Vault, ITIL/Agile, and Kubernettes.
