- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training preferred.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads. The LPN may be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse, as well as hazardous substances or body fluids. The ability to lift, carry, and maneuver patients is also required.
