Class Overview

This position is designed to deliver expert-level support services to students, faculty, and alumni.

Essential Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in fields such as education, communications, social sciences, business, marketing, or a related discipline is mandatory. A minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in educational settings or recruitment is required. Relevant experience encompasses secondary education, higher education, enrollment management, community outreach, program coordination, or the development of outreach initiatives.

Compensation within the specified range is based on the candidate's educational background and/or years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provides guidance and/or assistance to designated College divisions and/or functions. Aids in the formulation and execution of policies, procedures, and/or initiatives. Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the College's structure, culture, policies, and practices. Acts as a liaison for both internal and external organizations. Facilitates workshops and presentations as necessary. Participates in relevant departmental, divisional, and college-wide committees. Prepares, analyzes, and presents reports on various topics as requested.

Position-Specific Responsibilities

Delivers exceptional service to students and other internal and external stakeholders. Engages in recruiting prospective graduates for all educational programs, including both credit and workforce offerings. Develops and executes strategic and tactical plans to meet established recruitment objectives. Provides leadership and coordination for designated recruitment outreach initiatives, which may involve organizing information sessions or other on-campus recruitment events, external outreach activities, or special occasions. Gathers, documents, and reports data from recruitment efforts. Cultivates relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including prospective students, parents, secondary school representatives, and other parties involved in the college selection process. Maintains ongoing communication with prospective students through various channels, including in-person meetings, phone conversations, emails, information sessions, high school visits, college fairs, and other events. Collects inquiries and assists in converting them to applicants while guiding them through each step of the enrollment process. Reviews and evaluates application-related materials. Supports recruitment initiatives aimed at enhancing the growth of specific populations. Keeps accurate records of recruitment activities and assists the Assistant Director with compiling data related to the effectiveness of efforts and initiatives. Works independently within a team on special and ongoing projects. Assists the Assistant Director of Admissions with program development and strategic planning, while monitoring priorities and progress towards departmental goals.
