Optometrist - Vision Source

Vision Source is a thriving private practice located in the picturesque coastal towns of Beaufort and Morehead City, North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess patient vision and eye health.
- Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular diseases.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses tailored to patient needs.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and maintaining overall eye health.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology such as Optos, OCT, HVF, and NeuroLens to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
- Manage and direct our Dry Eye / Ocular Aesthetics Clinic, offering specialized treatments and services.
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid optometry license in the state of North Carolina.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Interest in specializing in dry eye and ocular aesthetics is preferred.
