Seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is looking for a board-certified medical oncologist/hematologist to join our team at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary cancer conference, you will work closely with a team of experienced clinicians and support staff to provide high-quality care to patients with cancer and blood disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative services to ensure timely care of patients
  • Abide by the Dartmouth Health Bylaws for the Professional Staff and Code of Conduct
  • Review patient records and medical history
  • Determine diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Order screening and diagnostic tests and studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Initiate referrals to other providers as necessary
  • Provide consultation, education, and counseling to patients and families

Qualifications:

  • Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
  • Postgraduate training in a residency program
  • Medical license in the State of Vermont
  • Board certification or board eligibility
