Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician I-Certified PRN to join our team in delivering exceptional medication management across all dimensions of care.

Job Overview

We are an integrated system of physician practices, hospitals, and outpatient centers committed to providing a remarkable healthcare experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling and delivering medication orders for all age groups under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Performing non-sterile compounding and repackaging.
  • Answering and screening telephone calls and referring calls to a pharmacist when appropriate.
  • Processing cart fills, refills to automated dispensing machines and replenishments to emergency kits and carts.
  • Demonstrating proficiency with equipment and software.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School or GED degree and one year of relevant experience, or an Associate Degree in Pharm Tech.
  • Current registry with applicable State Board(s) of Pharmacy and certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
