Job Title: Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Goal Point Behavior Group LLC. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral interventions to children with autism and their families.

Job Summary:

The Behavior Technician will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 direct client care, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and naturalistic environment training
  • Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, as designed by the case manager and trained by the case manager or assistant case manager
  • Collect, record, and summarize data for observable client behavior, under the supervision of the case manager and/or ACM
  • Write and submit a clinic note by the end of every session, and provide a parent note for each session
  • Attend on-going staff education and training on client behavioral and skill acquisition protocols, through case management, staff development, and morning meetings
  • Complete assigned readings and objectives, and daily RBT duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Full-time, part-time positions available
  • Starting pay: $17.75 per hour
  • Sign-on bonus of $1500, paid in three payments of $500

Qualifications:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members, and a desire to work with young children
  • Reliable attendance record
  • Must complete Registered Behavior Technician credential requirements within the time frame set forth by BACB
  • BA or BS in psychology, social work, special education, or related field preferred
  • Must be able to run, jump, crawl, bend, kneel, and stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs with assistance
