Cardiologist - CAMC Cardiology Specialist

As a Cardiologist at CAMC Health System, you will provide high-quality evaluation and treatment services to patients in the field of advanced cardiac imaging. Your expertise in cardiovascular CT, cardiovascular MRI, and structural transesophageal echocardiography will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to CAMC patients, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of medical art and science.
- Demonstrate current technical, medical, and service competency through ongoing professional practice evaluation.
- Review practice-related data from the National Cardiac Data Registry and other clinical quality initiatives to improve processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the staff to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless delivery of services.
Patient Group Knowledge: The employee must possess knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages.
Specifically, the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
Common Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and document all applicable required education.
- Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations.
- Comply with the company's attendance policy.
- Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution.
- Perform work in a cost-effective manner.
- Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies.
- Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization.
- Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
CredentialsGraduate of an accredited ACGME cardiology residency and subspecialty training in Structural echocardiography, cardiovascular CT, and/or cardiovascular MRI.
Board Certified/Board Eligible with the ABIM in cardiology and preferred subspecialty certification in advanced imaging field.
