Detailed Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial evaluations and prioritize patient care according to presenting conditions
  • Accurately record and manage laboratory results, collaborate with physicians, and update families and patients on their progress
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop effective care plans, ensuring timely access to necessary treatments
  • Provide empathetic support through phone calls, understanding patient concerns and guiding them towards optimal care
  • Facilitate seamless communication between physicians, conveying essential information and fostering collaborative care
  • Lead preauthorization processes for medication, diagnostic procedures, and treatments, ensuring efficient care delivery and minimizing delays
  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients across various age groups, incorporating preventive measures and tailored treatment strategies
Qualification Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program is essential; relevant experience in patient care management is desirable
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification, Certified Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania)
