Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool(s), on the pool deck(s) and in surrounding areas. Ensures compliance with YMCA policies and procedures to promote a safe and positive atmosphere for members. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring pool areas to prevent accidents and injuries
- Providing emergency care and first aid when necessary
- Enforcing pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a positive member experience
